Komyoon app provides the platform for artists to share their works with a dedicated community and potential clients. Decision makers get a clear vision of the artist’s portfolio on the go and can quickly get in touch with them right within the app.
A team consisting of a Project Manager, Technical Lead, App Developers (iOS and Android), Backend Developer, UI/UX Designer, QA Engineer
Swift, Kotlin, Python, Flask, AWS, Docker, Redis, PostgreSQL, Websockets, Celery
The challenge was to build an application which will connect artists and decision makers.
The app should include a variety of different features that will allow users to upload, view and search for different assets in one place. The assets will be images, gifs and videos.
The users are divided into two groups: Kreators and Kurators. Kreators are content creators: photographers, illustrators, directors, animators and CGI artists. Kurators are producers, creatives, advertising agencies and various brands that need to hire professional artists for their projects.
The team started development of the app based on the wireframe provided by Komyoon team. Throughout the process we collaborated and suggested new solutions to leverage user experience.
After the launch the collaboration is ongoing and we work on additional project phases.
Among the core features of the application are a custom image editor and complex custom feeds. You can create a custom feed in your profile and arrange assets in the way that presents them best.
The search feature lets easily find the relevant work, gallery or user. You can use multiple tags from various categories and also filter results by artist categories.
The galleries system allows to collaborate, save and share assets with other users within the app. Users can easily connect and communicate via a custom chat.
“The team developed an innovative product that has been widely praised by users for its beauty and intuitive design. They were careful to provide a deliverable that was both technically sound and visually pleasing, thinking critically and collaborating along the way.”
The app has been successfully launched on iOS App Store in April 2019 and on Google Play in August 2019. It received highly positive feedback from users for being both visually pleasant and intuitive in use.
